Slideshow Podcast

During my writing conference I am going to want to ask what is the best way to start off my podcast slide show. I am having a couple issues with how to start it off because my into for the other podcast was too genral and I want it to be right this time. I am also going to ask how I will be able to put music on my podcast slideshow. I found a song that would go great with my slideshow. I want to know how my project is going in general.
To finish off my webtext I want to know more about the family life of the families left behind. I want to know how they handle everyday situations. How many soldiers are leaving behind and how are the children coping with it? I would also like to know, How do the soldiers react with coming home? Not only with them but how it affects their family life.

Post-Conference

I conferenced with Crystal and it really did help. I was writing on too much of a personal level when i should have been doing it more in third person. She also suggested to use more .org or .net websites. which i have taken into consideration and added some sources with that. I also needed to fix my parenthetical sitations which i have already changed. I appreciate all her help and hope i understood everything we talked about.

My Topic

I have decided i want to something on the soldiers in Iraq. I don't really know exactly where to go with it though. I want to let people know about the psychological problems the soldiers are having. I would also like to let people know about http://soldiersangels.com/ . It's a great volunteer organization that helps out our soldiers. The program doesn't help them physically but it does help them out a little mentally. I have found a couple of eye opening websites such as http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/ . I find the topic of Soldiers very interesting and would like to research it further.

It's a little hard for me to stay focused on something that isn't very interesting to me. I am glad that I get the opportunity to pick the subject/topic to write about this semester. The three topics that interest me are:

1. The affects of the war on soldiers- I personally know of 5 people who went to Iraq and 3 of which who have returned. There is a variety of problems that they suffer from mental to physical. I would just like to show everyone what this war is doing to our people. While they are out there they feel lonely. There is a program called Soldiers Angels. It is where you send care packages and letters to those fighting to defend our country.

Q: How many soldiers have come home from Iraq?

Q: What types of psychological problems are the soldiers having?

Q: How many soldiers have come home with a physical disability?I would also like to let people know of the insurance issues that the soldiers are having.

2. Abortion- I know that its a topic that everyone seems to want to do. They are either against it or for it. I am personally against it. I would just like to show people that abortion really messes with many psychologically.

Q: How many abortions are there ,world wide, a year?

Q: What are the ages that is most common to get an abortion?

Q: What are the medical risks of having an abortion.

3. The Economy- As everyone can see the economy is in a recession. Many people are suffering from it.

Q: What is the plan to fix the economy?

Q: When will the recession end?

Q: Who is affected most by the downfall of the economy?
